Kryzys i wojna jako czynniki kształtujące rozwój myśli socjologicznej w Bułgarii — na przykładzie twórczości Todora Panowa
Abstract
The aim of the article is to show two aspects of the social impact of the war. On the one hand, a war (as any other social change) determines the fate of the generation of scholars at any given historical moment. On the other hand, it shows the importance of military sociology and the validity of its application. The text focuses on parts of Bulgarian social thought of the 19th century, particularly on Teodor Panow’s works — a representative of the Bulgarian “war generation.” The text also attaches some importance of the Balkan Wars and the World War I to the institutional and theoretical development of the Bulgarian social sciences.
