Obszary badawcze polskiej socjologii wsi okresu przejścia systemowego (lata 1989–2013)

Abstract

The analysis of the most important publications which appeared in Poland in 1989–2012 in social studies into rural areas and agriculture shows that Polish rural sociology in the period of political transformation penetrated intensively the following three problems: changes in agriculture and transformation taking place within the group of farmers, living conditions of the rural population, and transformation of rural communities. The latter research was considered of particular importance, as it included such study problems as transformation of the institutional system and social capital, related to even more fundamental questions concerning the construction of civil society in the country.
