Socjologizm teorii badań dwujęzyczności Uriela Weinreicha
Abstract
Uriel Weinreich’s work Languages in contact was a turning-point in the history of bilingualism study, and for many authors it is still an important reference source. Not only does his theory consider numerous sociological inspirations and references, but it also presents a specific perspective and idea of language. While explaining the language on the level of its phonetics, morphology, syntax or praxis, Weinreich relies on cultural anthropology, social psychology, history, ethnology and other humanistic sciences.
