Rosyjskie inspiracje Ludwika Kulczyckiego

Michał Głuszkowski

Abstrakt

The article explores Russian influences on the sociological thought of Ludwik Kulczycki (1866–1941). Drawing extensively on Russian sources and translations, Kulczycki engaged with the ideas of Kropotkin, Bakunin, Lavrov, and Plechanov, integrating them into his works on socialism, anarchism, and political systems. His intellectual development was shaped by direct contact with Russian thinkers, exile in Siberia, and study abroad. Russian translations of Western texts also served as key sources. The article highlights Kulczycki’s unique position within Polish sociology as both a recipient and interpreter of Russian sociological thought, particularly within the socialist tradition, emphasizing his critical dialogue with Russian anarchist theory and fellow Polish thinker Wacław Machajski.
